Juices for Bone Health

Juicing for healthy and strong bones is very effective because it makes all the important nutrients readily available for absorption by our body easily.

Here are some of the juices that can give you strong bones:
  • Juice together kale with a few oranges. Kale if rich in calcium and the oranges help to make this juice more palatable and also helps absorb the calcium easily.
  • Juice Turnip greens with a few apples or pears. Turnip greens are a calcium powerhouse and strengthens your bones.
  • Collard Greens juice is an excellent source of magnesium which is another important mineral for bone health.
  • Make a juice with lots of mint leaves flavored with a few lemon slices. This juice is very flavorful.
  • Make a juice with broccoli and spinach with a few apples. Broccoli and spinach provide abundant Calcium and apple juice adds sweetness.
  • Parsley juice is loaded with magnesium for strong bones.
  • Juice of red grapes and blueberries are high in anthocyanins and proanthocyanins that promote good bone health.
  • Blackberry juice also contains magnesium to support strong bones.

Juices for Healthy Eyes

Here are some of the juices which help you maintain healthy eyes:

  • Carrot Juice: Carrots contain lots of Vitamin A which offers powerful nourishment to the eyes.
  • Spinach Juice: Spinach is an excellent source of Vitamin A which is super beneficial for the eyes.
  • Endive Juice : Endives contain lot of essential nutrients for the eyes.
  • Dandelion Juice: Dandelions are rich in potassium, iron, sodium and magnesium. They provide essential nourishment to the optic nerves.
  • Mango Juice: Mango juice provides a excellent source of Vitamin A from beta-carotene's and nourishes the eye.

Juices for Diabetes

It is generally believed that once you have diabetes you cannot take any juice. This is a common misconception. There are some juices that help in controlling your diabetes.

Here is a list of those juices. Make a blend by combining a combination of these juices so that it is easier to consume.

  • Bitter Gourd or Bitter Melon Juice: Bitter Gourd has tons of the vitamins B1, B2, B3 and C and also rich in minerals like iron, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc and manganese. The hypoglycemic compounds in bitter gourd is highly beneficial in lowering sugar levels in blood and urine and is believed to promote glucose tolerance and to control levels of insulin.
  • String Bean Juice: String beans are rich in potassium and is helpful in restoring pancreatic health.
  • Brussels Sprout Juice: lowers the blood sugar levels by stimulating the production of insulin.
  • Amla Juice or Indian Gooseberry Juice: Amla has a rich anti-oxidant content and rich in Vitamin C and helpful in keeping diabetes under control.
  • Curry Leaf Juice: Taking curry leaf juice in empty stomach is believed to remedy diabetes related to hereditary.
  • Pomegranate Juice: High antioxidants in pomegranate juice might be extremely effective in decreasing the chance of atherosclerosis which is the hardening of the arteries and hence reduce the risk of coronary complications associated with diabetes
